Guam loves food, and so does Pacific Daily News. Last weekend PDN launched a new app for all you food lovers. Free to download, you can find the Guam Foodie app in the app store of your Apple orandroid devices by searching for “guamfoodie.”
The app allows users to find restaurants neatly sorted into more than 30 different categories including: gourmet deli, Chamorro, Japanese, Korean and PDN’s current Pika’s Best winners. You'll also find contact information and menus. You can even call restaurants directly from the app. Soon to come is a map with directions so you can easily reach your dining destination.
You can also find current PDN food articles and photo galleries easily. Find recipes, read through PDN's foodie Jojo Santo Tomas’ weekly column “Boy Go Eat” and search for eateries all in one app.
The app’s setting can be conveniently set to an interactive wheel, or a grid showing all of the restaurant categories. In the ribbon setting, you can swipe through both the restaurant listings as well as the latest PDN articles and galleries related to food.
After you go to the restaurants, don’t forget to write a review and rate it for other Guam Foodie fans.
